Inside Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage was built around 1650 and nestles in the valley that runs inland from the cove. When you step out of the front door you are just a few minutes walk from the cove and beach.

The interior is well maintained and has been totally refurbished. It has full gas central heating at your control and is laid out as follows:-

Ground Floor

Lounge/Diner

The lounge/diner runs from the front to the back of the cottage. There is an exposed stone fireplace, with comfortable one and two seater sofas, colour TV, video and DVD player and oak dining table and chairs.

Kitchen

A fully fitted kitchen area with pine units, eye level oven, hob, microwave, fridge and sink-drainer. It comes fully equipped with cutlery, cooking utensils, kettle & toaster etc.

Main Bedroom
Double bed, with solid pine fitted wardrobe, chair, side table and antique dressing table.		 Second Bedroom
Bunk beds, with pine wardrobe with bevelled full length mirror, side table.		 Bathroom
Decorated in fresh colours and complete with washbasin, toilet and bath. It is well fitted with shelves, mirrors and a cabinet with electrical shaver point.

Note: We can also provide a permanent Mother Care cot, matress and bed linen if required at no extra cost. For our younger guests we can also provide a high chair free of charge. Please let us know in advance if you would like to make use of either of these facilities..
